This is a nice looking knife that has a superbly strong and well made handle.
Probably in KDS they have capable employees in the handle manufacturing department. However, the KDS manufacturer somehow fails to design and produce solid blades. Most of their knives have blades of unnecessarily thin material. Due to the probably not mastered hardening technology, the knives are very soft and you need to be able to sharpen them at least so that the blade lasts a little bit. For ordinary kitchen knife users, this is not a problem and these KDS knives do the job. This is a lower-middle class knife with below average blades, yet sufficient.
For users who understand knives a bit more, these are knives they won't buy again. Because there are much better knives on the market at similar prices. Personally, I am disappointed that a domestic established company KDS in the basic price range produces such semi-functional imitation knives, one could almost write junk. And in the higher price categories, they are slightly better made knives, but still with below average blades. Anyway, the problem is solvable if KDS learns to make thicker blades and also substantially modifies the hardening process, or directly changes the steel type to something substantially better.
