very nice clean design, imitation black veneer (can also be bought brown)
the clock is easy to see even from a distance, (the face is straight - not tilted, so they can sit it higher and still see it clearly)
can only be operated on 3x aaa batteries (but due to high consumption it is an emergency, only lasts a week on battery)
the power cable is 1.5m, you will need a usb A in the socket
there is also a mode that shows the temperature-date-time in about 10s intervals
if you only want to use batteries (which is what I originally intended) then count on replacing 3x aaa every week
the time must be set manually - there is no automatic time control by radio
a little more complicated setup (combination of short and long presses on the menu)
