After my experience with the WD3, I decided that the WD2 was sufficient for my needs. I only read that the difference is the size of the container. Unfortunately, there are more differences.
1. missing groove for inserting the floor attachment. So you always have to disconnect the pipes and store them separately.
2. the hose handle is flat and hard to hold. Model WD3 has a curved
3. on the WD3 model, the hose can be folded over into the air outlet for use as a leaf blower
4. instead of a filter, there is only a foam. WD3 has a paper filter.
After this experience I would recommend the WD3 model which is 200, - more expensive
