I've tried twice so far, the first was a mix of white and red linen that had already been used and washed so it didn't leak as much colour. The result was pure white t-shirts, a little red paper. The second attempt was more daring, a brand new black sheet and a brand new green and white sheet. Two pieces of paper, just in case. And you can see the result in the photo. I'm glad it's been tested for functionality and I can shuffle laundry without fear, which is much more efficient than waiting for the washer to fill by color. What is darker in the white photo are the green stripes on the other side that shine through.
