Who expects a great sound for the sound system of the hall will not get it. But if you're looking for a combo to use on vacation, or to jam on a park bench somewhere, that's totally fine. You plug in your phone, put on some music and play for dear life with the headphones quietly to yourself. You can't get anything better for the money. It also has a power cord, which even combos that cost a few hundred more don't have. I hooked it up with a cable from the headphone output to a big combo and it sounded pretty good, so you can easily hook it up to any active box or apparatus and then tear down the room with this little platypus. You unscrew two plastic screws from the side, add a guitar strap and you can walk and play like the Fox in the Puppet.

when using effects before the combo quite decent sound
when you want a completely clean sound without adding gain, the CLEAN sound is quite quiet; you just have to add a bit of gain, but it's the same with more expensive combos, e.g. Fender. However, it bothers me
