TLDR: not to buy, mediocre sound and a mile-long list of problems
Right off the bat the initial impression was bad, as the jbl app pretends it has no idea what it is. Cables short if you don't have the crate right on the table. It's a bit remedied by the sound, which is adequate, no crackling, bass ok, so average overall, no WOW effect. But over time, I found that for some unknown reason, they would turn off on their own, completely randomly. A short excursion to the internet and I discovered that I am not alone.
The sound itself is ok for pc work and some low action games, but for an FPS it's definitely not how it's presented. I mainly use them paired with my old iPod as a player. I expected much more from JBL.

the aux cable is short
effects do not work with aux cable
the usb cable is short if you have the box off the table
they switch themselves off from nowhere even on USB playback and BT
BT button must be pressed each time to pair
as soon as the PC is switched on with the USB cable connected, the BT is disconnected
gaming maybe so for transport tycoon and sims, definitely not for playing FPS
