Great, one volume on the tram, subway and street. Active noise cancellation works almost perfectly. In the 460NC with the big earpieces, the noise cancellation (silence relative to the surroundings) would probably be greater, but I have it for my commute to and from work. And these are so compact I don't even look like an exotic: -). The quality of the music is perfect, but I mostly listen to audiobooks and even on the subway I can understand them perfectly.
