initially I wanted 2x Flip 6 as stereo pair. then was ALZA discount 20% and I got 2x Charge 5 instead and this stereo combo is real crazy good for the price and fills easy 30m2 room for a party and movie pirates of Caribbean and high end critical music listening. crazy I often listen this pair more than my 250.000kc home speakers... haha good job JBL

I bought the speaker as a replacement for my aging Flip 3. I'm not an audiophile, so relatively little is enough for me as far as sound is concerned. However, I'm very happy that there is an equalizer in the app where I picked up the mids and highs right away. At maximum volume the sound quality really starts to suffer. The construction as usual looks very solid and the six has gained a little weight, which I welcome as it grows a bit with me: -). What I wasn't too happy about is that it's no longer possible to have multiple devices connected at the same time, so if I have the speaker connected to my computer, if I want to let music play from my phone, I have to disconnect the computer and the speaker, because the phone can't disconnect the computer (the other way around it can for some reason), I understand that in the age of shared playlists it's not so urgent anymore, but the ability for three people to be independently connected and take turns playing songs without constant reconnection will be missed. The second ailment is the uncovered USB input, which if wet will not charge. So if someone wets it when the battery is running low, you're out of luck, you can charge it up to an hour or two when it's completely dry (I haven't tried it personally, but if the sensors inside work as sensitively as on my phone, it's kind of like that). Overall, it is a good speaker that delivers 90% of the time what I want from it, it is portable and lasts a long time.

The sound for me does not match either the price or the quality of the brand. At 50% volume it rattles, complaint not acknowledged. It was meant as a gift, unfortunately, I have an older piece at home and it plays much better.

I' m primarily comparing to the previous Flip 5 I' ve owned so far. I have to say that the addition of the tweeter really improved the sound, which I really didn' t like with the Flip 5 for indoor use. Only JBL still hasn' t solved making the battery percentage natively visible on iPhone or Android. The speaker simply does not send this information correctly via Bluetooth, which is a problem that JBL has been struggling with for a long time.

The speaker is excellent and the sound is beautiful, but for a price attacking CZK 3,790, it' s already a bit of a portable, outdoor speaker that can get dirty, lost, damaged. Furthermore, I don' t like that the sound quality drops significantly above 50% of the volume, even though the speakers are already roaring enough at that time. They preferred to give the 50% volume as maximum and done. It' s not at the party, it doesn' t sound like that, the speaker is weak for that, which is understandable to its size. So it' s enough to listen to loud music, on a table, in a smaller room (no gym), etc.
