I've only had it on for a few minutes and I have to say it's a blast. The volume doesn't bother me so much,
as the overall clarity of the sound, the mids and highs are excellent. But it seems to me that there's a little bit of a lack
"mid-bass" at the expense of a lot of bottom end. Well, after amplification, it has a max. these soft bottom
bass will disappear (logically, the woofer has physical limitations and rather than resonate, it
it's forced to be suppressed and the midrange and treble just drown it out) so the sound is clear
and loud, but somewhat bassless. I'll try to tweak it with some third party EQ,
because the basic sound is kind of nice and soft, but a little unnatural.
So don't expect the sound of column or rack boxes (I'm a purist).
But the overall expression and especially the "resolution" of the sound - a blast!
pleasing sound at a really high level
solid workmanship
without the stupid lights
power supply inside, ordinary mains cord
simple control with EQ
bass around 100-200 Hz much suppressed at the expense of the lower ones
EQ in apce only three-band

jbl is the pinnacle of sound quality.
Great for the pool, but it sounds even better indoors. Inhabit the kitchen, etc. I'd take him to the bathroom if I could.
