I wouldn't take the accuracy to tenths of grams seriously, but to whole grams the accuracy is absolutely perfect
I did not observe a large variation in the measured value versus the placement of the object on the plate, the maximum variation was 0.2g per approx. 100g of object
it didn't close/open completely, I had to sand a bit with a file the hole around the joint for opening the plastic cover
