So far, I have never had the phone overheat during normal use (i.e. music, scrolling, taking photos, making phone calls, writing messages). It heats up more only when charging the battery, but the same thing happened with e.g. 11 Pro Max, so no significant fundamental difference.
Otherwise, it's a classic from Apple, a reliable phone with all the necessary apps, an excellent camera and good speed.

The biggest flop is the iOS keyboard. Compared to android, I find it horrible. I missed the number line and the period with a comma next to the space bar. So you have to keep clicking like slaves into another taboo.
The weight of the phone is known, but it is compensated by super durability and performance
