If I had to compare it with an inflatable pool, this one is much better in many parameters for children 2+. Inflatable pools have a bottom that is broken, and if you want to use the pool more and longer, then the floor is washed poorly after several days when changing the water. Maintenance is much easier here, because the surface is flat and dirt can be cleaned better and in a much shorter time. Nevertheless, I would probably recommend a smaller inflatable pool for a child around 1-2 years old. If the child climbs in and slips, the inflatable cylinders will let him climb into the pool with his weight. With this variant, it has happened to us that children who are impatient and climb into the pool " on all fours" often end up sitting with their hips on the pole structures and their hands and head are already in the pool and get stuck. As I wrote above, the inflatable one gives in a little and the cylinders have a larger area, so I somehow guarantee the inside. With this, it happens that children freeze in the push-up position. They don' t know how to proceed and it is necessary to help them, because their nose and mouth are in the water, but they are hanging on the pole that remained between their hip and belly and they cannot wash it in either direction and their legs are in the air. The pool says that it is from two years old and this is the reason, in my opinion. Of course, it is necessary for the pool to be supervised or covered if it is not being used when it is filled, if you don' t want to mess around when a dressed-up child runs off to catch something. In hobby markets, you can buy a rubber mat that is primarily intended for the garage, but has a thickness of several mm and you can put it under the pool if you want a slightly softer base if it will stand for a long time in the same place. A 120x120 cm pad costs a little more/the same as a pool, so it doubles your investment in refreshment. You can also buy material for self-covering at home if you have a larger garden and you are afraid that the child will escape from your sight.
fast construction
better than inflatable
easy maintenance
It can be packed very well after the season. With the inflatable one, forget to put it back in the same box.
