We claimed the tablet and it was exchanged for a new one, it is defective again and the original warranty has expired so we are not entitled to another replacement. Stay away from iGET, really unreliable brand. The number for the high complaint rate confirms this. I'm surprised Alza continues to sell this device.

As a home automation display it's OK (when WiFi is not killing), for multimedia it's a disaster. Free is expensive.
Parameters versus price
Pure Android
Lousy WiFi support - constant "wrong password" when a person enters the wifi password over and over and over and over and over again.
Netflix on it goes to run and sometimes even plays, but it constantly crashes, seka it and the application has to be killed, run again so that the person after a while had to repeat.

After a year it very often started to shut down when using the same apps over and over, games unplayable, the complaint center said it didn't show😅, so I got a big and clumsy paperweight for 4k🤦♂️

Overall, I am satisfied. Now after about 8 months of use the display has started to go bad. There is a bad contact somewhere, the display sometimes flickers and sometimes goes completely dark. Sometimes a gentle "tesla punch" was enough to solve the flickering, but the problem is getting worse and now the display is permanently dark, so I'm sending for a complaint. I'm sorry.
For movies and work, the display satisfies with size, resolution and sufficient brightness.
The camera chip is tragic for today, expect photos like from an 8 year old mobile phone for 3 thousand. But who would expect cool photos from such a tablet.
The tablet's speakers aren't exactly the loudest.
The tablet pretends to have 2 speakers on each side, but 2 of them are just fake holes. Interestingly, the original iGET FC206 case (https://www.iget.eu/iget-fc206/) has cut-outs for these two non-repeaters: -)

I bought a bt keyboard and mouse for it and got a laptop out of it
ideal for watching movies (I use external speakers for better sound)
quite large memory, has otg so you can connect a flash drive and external drive (ntfs need plug-in)
it seems to me that it's a big battery guzzler
