The computer recognized the device only after several attempts. And if it recognized it, the read and write speeds were extremely slow, in the tens of MB per second. The used SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS 1TB SSD in the original external box worked and after re-inserting it works quite normally, so I ruled out the SSD error.
A very well maintained product. It looks solid. Nice tutorial. USB-C cable with reduction to USB-A. I did not measure the speeds, but they are sufficient for my video processing. I recommend it.
Thanks to NVMe memory, the transfer speed in conjunction with USB 3.x is perfect. This also means the necessary transfer of waste heat. In the case of the ICY BOX, this is solved in such a way that not only is the heat-conducting rubber inside, but it is also covered by another sheet. So you can comfortably slide the whole solution in and out several times without irreparably damaging the heat conductive layer. The whole layer springs back, so excellent contact on the whole housing.
However, surge peak power consumption will cause even a USB 3.0 standalone powered HUB to not work long-term with a Raspberry Pi 4, which was my case. No problems with the PC.
