My idea was that it would reach the set temperature and then just keep at a gentle simmer. In fact, it takes over an hour to reach the boiling point (96 degrees in our area), and I only had jars on one floor. Then it just switches off and on the classic dull thermostat, no self-regulation, so it boils for a while and ten times as long as nothing before the temperature drops by three degrees and switches on full again. How the timer works I basically couldn't figure out. It does start when it reaches boiling, but then it runs for a while, not for a while, weirdness. And what amused me the most, when you set it to 100, well, just ninety-seven, you can never get to 100 at our altitude, the casserole rages like crazy (boils) but the timer doesn't start. (The real boiling water temperature is 96 degrees, it won't go higher, or it won't reach the set temperature of 97 to 100 and the thermostat can't turn on the timer. It can only work properly in Venice, which is at sea level. But not in the ones above Jizera: -) So whoever thinks that he can turn this shit on and come to a finished product is as wrong as I am. I can't imagine how long it would take me to cook 50 kilos of cucumbers with two hours of boiling (I count a casserole full in two tiers). You have to watch these anyway, but you don't, because they'll be cooked to shit by the length of heating to boiling. And for meat usable, it has to cook in a piece, and this casserole goes well, but unfortunately on a full knéd, so it is able to boil in half an hour. But when you set the temperature to 96, the timer starts, and you won't have meat in the casserole for two hours, but two days with delays in shutting down. I think the timer only ran when the casserole was boiling. And I'm ignoring the construction, because it's made of 0,4 stainless steel, or better tinfoil. The drain valve is 3 cm above the bottom, probably a safety lock against emptying, and the water flows out of it really slowly. like, you can't let it go, it's a full day. You can pour it, except there's nothing to hold on to, because the ears are really tiny. The casserole was designed by an expert. A golden casserole on the stove. For 2500 a beautiful enamel 50 litre casserole with lid from Sfinx and it works 100%. I'm returning this crap.
