The stated 35 dB seemed suspicious to me before purchase - my fairly quiet room has 38 dB of "background noise". I measure up to 55 dB on a certified noise meter one meter away from the fan when it is on. Since it's more of a personal heater, sitting next to it for long periods of time isn't really an option.

The safety button on the bottom of the device is so sensitive that if you place the device on a slightly uneven surface, it does not work. I would appreciate e. g. 0.5mm tolerance.

Just enough to heat a small room. But for heating from a distance of about half a metre to a metre, it is perfect. For example, it is ideal for pointing it at your hands and warming them up.
