The only downside I perceive is the step count. Apparently it works only by hand movements, so I was quite surprised when I had a lot of "steps" after playing the piano for a while. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to compare it with other watches. I used to have a Mi Band 2 bracelet that did this as well, but at this price point I wasn't expecting it.
