Very long battery life, even with always on display
Large usable display area (compared to my older Samsung Watch, where the display area is significantly reduced by the rotary dial. It too has its advantages - easy app browsing, volume control, but after two weeks I'm leaning more towards Huawei's flat display with maximum use of the area.
Precise sensor measurement. For example. altimeter with an error of less than 3 meters (while Samsung showed the height of Sněžka in Prague after a year, even 200 m below sea level). Surprisingly reasonable is the sleep measurement.
Frequent updates in which Huawei adds new features (initially missing automatic exercise detection, new sports,. ).
A better avatar for a reminder exercise than those progressives at Samsung after the recent update.
Missing calendar and SMS app (full, notifications of course come). "Managerial" functions, such as Samsung has, are thus far lacking.
In combination with the Samsung S8, you cannot reject a call with a predefined SMS. On the phone, the SMS texts for quick rejection are part of the phone app though, so it's questionable whether Samsung has made this feature available to third-party devices. I have not tested how the watch behaves with Huawei phones.
Samsung divides notifications into categories, which is clearer than the all-together, Android-style notification grid. This is where Huawei should take inspiration.
