I needed to connect three monitors to a Mac book and connecting via two thunderbolts and one hdmi was annoying and standard thunderbolt docks run into architectural limitations (only two will connect). The only annoying thing is that the dock usually needs the usb-c connector to be inserted into the computer twice to make it miss, but it catches reliably.
Works with mac book and three monitors, just need to install the DisplayLink driver
