I was looking for a thin, powerful replacement for my current Zenbook 13S with an OLED display. This time I wanted an Intel model because I had already burned myself for the third time in a row with Ryzen. It seems that today manufacturers do not pay any attention to software stability and reliability. They just somehow bribe it to pass reviews, and after a year they absolutely cough up some software problem. I hope this model with Intel will be a little different. Well, how wrong I was. I have to highlight the equipment of the laptop, its processing, the comfortable keyboard, the pleasant touchpad with haptic response and the perfect display. Especially the OLED display, which, thanks to the anti-reflective treatment, is significantly less shiny than my OLED display on the Zenbook. The adjustment is comparable to what you may know from a Macbook. This machine is probably the closest to it. Even the touchpad, which the Macbook has absolutely top-notch, comes close to Apple. In short, for the hardware, I give 5 out of 5 stars. As for the software side, it' s a disaster. Over the weekend I counted about 12 blue screens. I started with a pre-installed system. Everything worked at first. At the end of the day, after a few updates, the random crashes started. It got to the point where my camera stopped working and the graphics driver had an exclamation mark on it. I reinstalled, completely uninstalled, updated and latest drivers, tried older ones. Nothing helped. Finally, the next day after spending half a day installing the PC, I factory reset the entire PC and reinstalled the system. To my surprise, this did not solve the problem. The BSODs kept coming and the camera still wouldn' t work. In the end, only static discharge (long press of the power button) helped my misunderstanding, after which the BIOS screen came up with the fact that the CRC of the BIOS does not match and that it is being reset to factory settings - this eliminated all problems. Since then, I' ve been dealing with my well-known and favorite problem of the laptop waking up from sleep in the middle of the night and falling back into BSOD. In the morning, the PC starts nicely restarted, all your work is gone, and you can start to wonder where you left off in the evening. I don' t need this. I returned the laptop and my next machine will probably be a Macbook. I really don' t know what else reliable to buy.
