It's really good for the price, but it's not much more than office work. It can handle lighter games, but is not built for more demanding titles. He was able to run fairly solid programs in Matlab. It is lightweight and compact, ideal for travel. Due to the small size there is no numeric keypad, which might bother some people. The charger is also light and tiny, so no heavy brick. Battery life is pretty solid too. All in all, it was a good buy.
