Beware of this product, it pretends to be environmentally friendly but in reality reduces the possibility of recycling to a minimum. The thick side is eco-friendly (which is great) but the rest of the sponge is plastic, so if someone wanted to recycle the plastic part of the sponge it would go really bad because the "eco-friendly" part would be there. If you want something eco-friendly for washing dishes, get a wooden dish brush with agave bristles.
In reality they are not ecological at all (rather the opposite)

The sponges look nice, but they don' t carry Eco, and you get something different than in the alza description.

I thought they were 100% recyclable, removable, that I could throw them into a composter after use, the product is only 40% renewable, recyclable. who knows what that means, but in my opinion it' s greewashing.
alza product description is incorrect, Ecological sponge is not made exclusively from natural materials, 40% is sisal fiber, 60% is polyester

Great sponges, bigger kind, just in hand, the rough side normally handles anything baked, soft foams well and is pretty flexible, washes everything.
The whole sponge is ecological, the bottom is made of cellulose, the top is made of agave fibers.
The cover is a strip of thin recycled cardboard, just enough paper to hold 2 sponges together.
It lasts a long time, as with classic sponges, it is destroyed by practically only a long scrubbing of stubborn dirt with the upper rough side.
He doesn' t tend to smell.
For us, the best disposable sponges on the market, whether eco or not.
It' s a pity that they are not sold in a larger quantity cheaper, we would easily buy, for example, 3 or more pairs in stock with a quantity discount .: )
