It is certainly a needed book that has been missing from our historical market. If anyone is in the healthcare business, it's exclusively medicine; treating patients is underrated.
The book repeats historical mistakes that have long been common in the Czech nursing literature. For example. is used in this book - and in all nursing theses! - you can read that "Pope Gregory the Great in r. 817 charged the monasteries with the care of the poor, the disabled and the sick". It has one error, Gregory the Great lived between 550 and 604, so he died 213 years before his alleged act. This devalues the whole book factually and testifies to the inadequate editorial work of the Grada publishing house.
