The cameras are fine but BEWARE, Alza recommends the wrong mounting boxes. The correct mounting boxes that fit the cameras are DS-1280ZJ-DM8 (at the time of writing this review, they were not available on Alza). The manufacturer also has a mess of recommended accessories, remember the DS-1280ZJ-S doesn't fit the camera.

Notification via the Hik-Connect app only works if you connect the cameras to the internet and link them to your hikvision account. This can be bypassed by using Homeassistant (I have on Raspberrypi), which I send notifications through.
