Although the description states that it is compatible with Linux, this is not true. The camera is basically non-functional even with the latest kernel, the standard UVC driver can't handle it and the log is full of erroneous V4L2 operations. It works great under Windows.

Although the manufacturer states that it is supported in Linux, it is definitely not plug&play. You need to install the libwebcam package (fedora). I bought a remote exam certification from RedHat, and it didn't work in their exam distro. In the end it was enough to use 'Trust SpotLight Webcam Pro', which works without problems in Linux - without the diodes. Popr. from logitech in linux everything works without problems - not only webcams.
