A beautiful book. As soon as it arrived, I leafed through the whole thing and started reading. I found a lot of new information in it about plants and their uses. I’ll definitely make some rosehip liqueur, for example. The book features beautiful illustrations and a return to its roots (literally). I also highly recommend the author’s book on mushrooms, which I also own.
I like the way it’s broken down into periods when it’s best to go foraging.
I appreciate the return to old Slavic customs and the depiction of celebrations of nature’s bounty.
