This device worked only for about 2 minutes, then it smoked and could not be switched on after switching off. And I had no more than 20-25 mm branches. Something had spilled out of the engine case and was making a metallic noise. I guess I had bad luck with a defective piece. Alza immediately refunded the money for this product and I bought a branch shredder from Lidl for half the price. I had no expectations of it and expected it to last and it shredded all the branches from my garden unlike this Hecht.
