More than decent sound for the money.
The ideal solution for those who have all the "plugs" falling out of their ears.
The practicality of the missing "holder" over the head for hatters, curlers and dreadlockers + storage in the pocket.
Right-angled jack, (but some may find this an advantage)
Eventually the "stoppers" will wear out and replacements probably won't be forthcoming.
