Better than glass, it never held on the rounded edges of the OLEDisplay. Better a foil with bubbles and dirt under the foil than nothing and risk scratching the display. I'm disappointed with the foil, because it turned out that I'm a klutz and can't stick it flawlessly.
On Motorolas with a display with rounded edges, this is the only option in my experience. The protective glass always started to peel off, in fact the edges never stuck properly. The foil does not have this feature.
The kit does not include any "glue" to remove any dirt. With other sets this is, and I have always taken advantage of it.
Overall, gluing the foil is a big adrenaline rush for me. Too bad Alza doesn't offer a sticking service, I'd like to take advantage of that.
