I have plenty of experience with sticking films and glass on phones. However, despite all the precautions (clean environment, use of headlamp and the included swabs to aboslutely clean the display before applying the new film), after 5 minutes from the sample application, tiny bubbles formed around the edges of the film and it looked unsightly, as if the film had already done something. The next day I charge my phone and it gets a little warm like everyone else. After it cooled, I see the bubbles disappeared. For a perfect installation, I would recommend to heat the foil somehow right after sticking, ideally by fast charging to release any remaining bubbles.
