unfortunately there's no better alternative. The glass for the Pixel 8 cracks and doesn't fit properly.
The foil is very durable
The application of the film is quite variable. It depends on how well they cut the film out.
After about 7 months, it started to peel and warp off the phone by itself.

The foil wasn't cut, which means I didn't even manage to peel it off the wax paper it was on properly. Well, when I finally managed to do it, it was all twisted, so it couldn't even stick to the phone.
The foil was not cut, so unusable.
