The fountain was initially a complete satisfaction - it worked perfectly and looked great. Unfortunately, after a month of use, it started to go downhill. Replacement filters, which you have to buy separately, do not last as long as the original ones. Over time, the fountain began to vibrate unpleasantly, even though I cleaned the pump regularly. Eventually I gave up because it became unnecessary stress. I've now reverted to the classic bowl rather than be a slave to this fountain, which I find to be unnecessarily complicated and unsustainable.
We change the filter once every 14 days and clean completely once a month. Everything without a problem, we just had to seal the sides with adhesive tape, the cats kept trying to get into it and they opened it several times and there was water everywhere.

I only have a short one so far, so I can' t evaluate the long-term quality. But it is quiet, easy to assemble, and can hold a lot of water. It should be taken into account that cats will treat it a bit like a toy. I (the cats) are a bit missing a water tank into which the water would fall and stay there for a while, like other fountains have. But it won' t be a problem, cats will learn to drink from a trickle.

I've only been buying this one for years, no reason to invent anything else. We have hard water, so after about two to three years the motor goes out, but that's just part of it. Complete satisfaction.
