In the package there was already a screw + plastic cap, which also serves to tighten the screw. So no need to buy any adapter to attach 1pc of lighting etc. It is stable even when the lower legs are not fully extended (smaller heights). When the legs are fully opened, the length from the centre to the end of one leg is approx. 76cm.
