Big disappointment. I'm sticking with my 3 generations younger Pixel 4a. The fingerprint reader is not reliable. But that could be survived and maybe even tweaked. But what you can't get past is the unusable display, which is completely unreadable in the sunlight. I also tried setting the display permanently to 90 Hz. Didn't help. I'm returning the phone.

I was a little worried about battery life, because it was probably the most criticized thing about this phone. In the morning at 3 I take off the charger, some calls, social networks, videos, web, whatsapp,. It's 10 p.m., still 50% battery. yesterday I "gave it" a little more during the day, so I ended up at 40%, but still great. Sure, it's not 2-3 weeks on a charge like the old Nokia, but it can do a bit more: -)
so for me satisfaction, I wouldn't worry about the battery (unless you are on the phone for 10 hours straight)

Compared to the old Xiaomi Mi A3, it's a decent leap forward. Whether on the display or performance side. I'm happy with the smartphone, I'm just a bit annoyed by some minor adjustments to the software from Google (merging WiFi and Mobile Data into the Internet switch). The fingerprint reader is not quite ideal (I recommend scanning your finger multiple times and then it will recognize the fingerprint reliably). I would recommend.

Display. I guess it depends what you're switching from - if you have AMOLED now, you'll be happy. I was annoyed that when changing the viewing angle, the colors changed and a blue bar "crossed" the display. Nothing changes on the other display type (LTPS) and the white remains white.
