I bought it because I had the bigger one for free with my TV. I wanted multi-room audio. The sound quality is not great. He's a horrible asshole, he doesn't understand anything. Sometimes he understands and does something different. Amazon Echo is much better, although Google can do more and have a conversation (e.g. when he was born > 1975, and when he died > 2018). All my IoT works with it. Of the assistants, Siri is probably the best, but I don't know about Home Pod itself. I've never cussed at a man more than I've cussed at this crap.
