The range of the sensor is perfect, the stated value of 30 meters is an understatement, I have the station in the living room and the sensor at the other end of the barrack about 20m through 2 walls and 3 doors and the signal is perfect. Powered by 3 AA and mains power, it displays beautifully and at night between 1-3am it shuts down for 5 mins and updates the data. Option to buy 2 more sensors and switch between 3.
