Returned and replaced with a Dell soundbar with direct monitor installation. Dell in particular doesn't kick in a piece.
Decent sound for its price
Suitable for spoken word
When plugged in, it makes a constant quiet hum that gets on my nerves
Unsuitable for music

I was looking for something inexpensive to go with my laptop for business and based on other reviews I chose this little soundbar over the classic speakers. I don't regret the nice sound, design, really handy little, fits under the monitor on a classic Pc, or next to a laptop doesn't take up much space. I'm surprised it's so cheap, they might as well ask more for it. As a negative I see the volume control on the cable, which is quite impractical, but otherwise I am pleasantly pleased and surprised. I definitely recommend it

I wanted "something" to use instead of headphones. For YouTube documentaries, some music, and games (WoT). For this cheapest soundbar, and even better in a BF sale for £13, after a bit of tweaking with the EQ on my computer, it easily plays at an 8/10 for me. The highs aren't that brilliant, the mids are alright. But the bass... it really doesn't have any. It can go quite loud when you're sitting a metre away from it – but it won't fill the room with sound. When playing at max half volume and you boost the bass on the EQ, you can hear it, so the low end is there. I'd compare it to something between the sound of a phone on speaker and classic plastic 2.0 speakers. It does the job, and my overall impression is actually positive. And this is coming from a former DJ and sound engineer (who knows how to set up an EQ).

Great value for money. Obviously, it's not for audiophiles listening to music, but for the price, it's perfectly fine as a basic setup.
Plays quite loudly
USB power supply
Low price
I was surprised that it has at least some bass
The volume control on the cable could be closer or directly on the speaker itself

ok for me, I put it under the monitor for setup, mainly I use the speakers with the sub under the desk (music and games)
I don't see it.

Better than the repro in the monitor I needed to replace (the new monitor is without the repro). For normal things it is completely sufficient and for more demanding things (games, listening to music) I have headphones. For the price, great. Moreover, it fits exactly under the monitor stand (P10C).
