I fitted the sensor to the external wall of a block of flats. It is therefore protected from above by a wall, and the rain does not fall directly onto it. However, straight after the first rainy day, it got damp and is now displaying nonsensical humidity readings. There’s a bubble behind the screen. Given that the sensor has no cover, I consider its extremely short lifespan to be a major weakness, particularly as it is intended to be left outdoors all year round.
