The watch has been claimed. Complaint not acknowledged. it' s probably normal: ) Definitely not recommended. it' s just a cheap shunt.

After a few months, notifications of some services stopped showing, e. g. WhatsApp
Every now and then it is a problem to show the display with the time indicator at all when “moving“ the hands. I have to double tap the watch to activate the display.

For the price, I think it's great. Fully equipped, working. It's my first smartwatch and I'm thrilled with it. Even though it's one of Garmin's cheapest models, there's almost nothing to improve on it. There are models that are many times more expensive, which have perhaps only more battery life, a larger display and a steel case (Fenix). I don't need any of that.
It takes a while to get used to the controls, but then it's intuitive. User friendly. The display is bright, crisp and easy to use outdoors. The buttons on the display are, of course, smaller than on a mobile phone and it can be a problem for a person with strong fingers to hit where they want.
The Garmin Connect mobile app is a great way to motivate athletic activity with lots of badges, goals and challenges tailored to the user.
Garmin Pay is cool, I don't have to pull out my wallet. Someone wrote here that it's awkward because you have to enter the security code, but you only enter it once every 24 hours or after you take off your watch, so it doesn't really delay the checkout.
The only thing that doesn't work for me is the "Assistance request" function, i.e. calling for help with the watch. My emergency contact is not getting any message even though the watch says it was sent. I'm addressing the support issue, hopefully it will get resolved. However, this feature is more of a gizmo that I'll never really (hopefully) need, so 5* for me
