The first Garmin chest strap (HRM Run) started to fail after a year. Worked for a while, didn't work for a while. The new battery only lasted a week. Then he went into the eternal hunting grounds altogether. I figured I'd give Garmin another chance and bought this mega overpriced HRM Pro. After ten months and about 1500 kilometres with all the care and cleaning as prescribed by the manufacturer, it stopped working. I figured the battery was dead. Unfortunately, no. Now I'm just waiting to see how the claim goes. But I am definitely not going to recommend this product to anyone!

This is the second Garmin chest strap that stopped working after a year. The first was HRM Run.
The price is high, which does not correspond to the quality.
Basically, it only makes sense with Garmin products.
