I've been using the Vivoactive 4 so far and have been surprised by the amount of extra options. I was expecting a wider repertoire of sports, recovery advisor and a few extra metrics, but I was surprised by a lot of other little things, such as the ability to organize "glances" into a two-level folder structure, which is useful for larger quantities, then much more detailed settings when to backlight the display (e.g. after sunset). In addition to new metrics, the data fields menu includes the ability to display a graph instead of a value, unlimited number of pages with data, etc.
User shortcuts cannot be set to invoke functions by long pressing and holding buttons or combinations of buttons (e.g. shortcut to initiate a card payment). This feature is only on the higher models (Forerunner 9xx) and is the only thing I miss about this watch.

Great sport watch. And I like to store music on it. Therefore I can go running, listen to music and do not need to take my phone. Many sports are offered and the integration between Garmin and Strava works very well. That was important since some other watches do not offer the Strava intgration - like Huawei - at least some time ago.
