total satisfaction
I had Fenix 3, 5, 5+, 6 and this is a piece of cake
The GPS module must be fundamentally different, it grabs immediately, it measures more accurately
solar charging means a long time
I like the design / color
It is definitely worth investing in the Sapphire and Titanium variants. they are dramatically better materials and the watch lasts longer than new (thanks to that I sold Fenix 6 for a great price)

Just Garmin Fenix - they have everything.
Unfortunately, almost nothing can be seen on the display, it is like a mirror. Possible series error.

My first smart watch. As a big can and a watchmaker, I' m finally pleasantly surprised. In real, maybe nicer than in the photo. I' m not sure if it wouldn' t be better to place a larger display instead of a solar panel (8 hours a day in bed, 8 hours in an office in the shade or half shade, half a year in jackets and sweaters - so efficient charging is a few percent of the average day). and year). I was quite hesitant about the size whether the PRO version or the S version. I' m skinny not very grown runner with a circumference of 160mm. In the end I took the PRO version (medium size) and I did well. I would say they fit exactly, even though they are very close to some kind of border. Buttons: Some buttons show a “double click“ which does not work very well. However, this handicap stopped after a few days of use and clicking. I probably just need to go out and “sit down“.
they look good
long battery life
sports functions
pleasant mobile phone
the buttons click strangely before they sit down
the solar panel is somewhat meaningless
expensive original belts
do not support Sport Tracker connection

I use it for notifications that I have on my desktop. Against 5 there is a 6 day battery top, SPO, touch screen and maps. “Glances“ is great, digging widgets is easier. The backlight is no longer blue. It' s a nice upgrade but last time a model without a microphone!
watch that lasts like a watch
watches still show time, like a watch
in 2022 he has no assistant
in 2022 he can' t make calls

So Garmin didn' t make it easy for us with the new Phoenix again and prepared a decent offer of combinations, this time expanded by an Epix with a nice AMOLED display, so the selection wasn' t quite easy. In the end, I decided to choose this cheapest model for several reasons. First it was necessary to decide whether Phoenix or Epix. The display at Epix is definitely incomparably better, but the endurance is always lower at always-on than at Fénix, and at the same time the question arises as to whether the display will not be burned. But even if it should be cool, buying Epix still means paying CZK 5,000 for a (significantly nicer) display and a (significant) reduction in battery life. In the second round, we then get to choose the size between S, Classic and Xke. For me, this choice is quite influenced by the size of the hand, so the classic model 7 is based on it, but there is not much to grieve about. The choice of size does not affect the available functions much, so one can choose what sits on his hand. The only thing that applies is that the larger the model, the better the battery life and then that the X model has a nice feature in the form of a small LED flashlight. So when I finished with the classic size, all that remained was the decision whether to take the basic model, the solar-charged model or the sapphire model. To be honest, I don' t see any extra interesting benefits in solar charging. During the summer, it can extend the life of a flashlight by a few days, but it is not an extreme benefit, so a surcharge of CZK 2,500 is not worth it in my opinion. The transition to a sapphire model adds more durable glass and dual-band GPS. Glass is not interesting to me, and if you take care of your watch as a person, a sapphire is not necessary. Better GPS is another song. Overrated accuracy is always handy and Garminy has no stars in GPS accuracy. So a dual-band upgrade would be useful. On the other hand, to pay an additional CZK 5,000 for one fee does not pay off in my opinion (solar charging and sapphire are not what I would like, so the surcharge for me would really be justified only by the better GPS). I would be willing to pay the CZK 2,500 for myself if Garmin offered a dual-band GPS and a flashlight for them. Unfortunately, this variant does not exist, so I stayed with the basic model. I would say that it is better to put the saved CZK 5,000 into anything else, whether it is a chest strap, new shoes or a shame. The basic model for me provides everything one needs and paying for higher models does not make economic sense. On the other hand, we all have different expectations and for some, better GPS or solar charging may have the price that Garmin wants for these features, and then it' s perfectly okay to pay extra. Finally, only one complaint and that concerns the profile for inline skates. I really don' t understand that Garmin hasn' t been able to add native support to the sport to his watch after so many years. It' s beautiful that the watch supports 7 different profiles for running, a profile for Pilates, kayaking or walking up stairs, but I still don' t think Garmin would kill if they added a profile for skating. I know you can download apps from the IQ store, but I' d just expect native support.
Quality workmanship
Good battery life
Combination of touch and button control
Body battery
Stamina while running
Solid heart rate sensor
Blood oxygenation sensor
No dual-band GPS
No flashlight
Missing profile for inline skates
