my first device of this type, it looks and feels impressive
great build quality and battery life
battery down to 40% after about 11 days of use, mixed use, initial setup and 7hrs of GPS use
seams easier to use for Android users (more intuitive)
takes little time to get used to it
provides abundance of information
sync over wifi is some much more convenient
wrist based HR monitor is very accurate, just be aware of slight delay in reading update (few seconds) when compared with chest HRM
included silicone strap feels soft and very neutral to skin, holds firmly
metal band looks really good but has tendency to pick up finger prints easily
lower profile than Fenix 3, makes it easier to fit under shirt cuff
Garmin community support and choice of watch faces etc
overkill for most people even very active ones
questionable upgrade for those with Fenix 3
non-serviceable battery even by Garmin (3-5 years life depending on use)
some functionality like gym workouts, swimming need strap heart rate monitor (not sure it this is should really be a con - )
