It feels a bit too "aluminium" in the hand - it could be a bit heavier. However, well balanced, the head is accurate, the blade is nicely centered. Shave thoroughly, with a light hand. The quality of workmanship is impeccable, including the gilded patina of the handle. However, it might be too aggressive for a less experienced user. Regardless of the price (which is quite low compared to the competition), it is excellent.
Very effective
I would definitely not recommend it to a beginner
