Gainward, no matter who writes what they want, still makes very good cards even with lower models. The price is lower relative to the competition and the coil whine is much better than other manufacturers. VRM is sufficient and for overclocking there are other cards like Asus strix but there again coils often squeak unreal.
Cards with Amd chip price/performance excellent but the operating characteristics are not as good as here and the squeaking of the cards is not sure why but far worse, I had a lot of cards amd and nvidia.
Those who want performance and very good operating characteristics should not hesitate.

The power connector on the card, flipping out and sized like 2x sata power connectors on top of each other. Bad Nvidia connector design.
Reducer where connecting 8 pin connectors nonsensically 10cm from the card.
The coil squeal is lower but it is there and none of the manufacturers address this.

Golden Sample is probably not what it used to be. The design is OK, RGB decent, the 3-slot plug is nice.
However, for a 4090 with "GS" OC potential, 16 50A phases is woefully short. Moreover, its components are also of ordinary quality. I'm afraid that VRM will be leaving soon. "Preferably" after the warranty". This is where Gainward should look to MSI or ASUS and improve their top GS models.
