The shelf itself was easy to assemble and looks nice, but I'm very disappointed with the storage boxes that came with it. They have a very strong, unpleasant smell that doesn't go away. I tried cleaning them thoroughly but the odor still persists. It's strong enough that I don't feel comfortable using them to store bathroom items. Overall, the shelving unit is decent, but the smell of the boxes significantly lowers the quality of the product.
