The comb side wokrs very nice. The brush side makes fur smooth, my cat loves it. But the brush side is a bit hard to clean, because it's very fine and fur gets stuck in it. Anyway, I still bought all the FURminator range of hair tools to take care of my cats fur, it's a good brand, not some cheap knock-offs
