I needed to replace my old line interactive UPS, which could no longer keep my PC alive during a power failure. That's why I looked for the online version. I found this one to be suitable in terms of price/performance ratio. The first (unpleasant) surprise came right after switching on. The noise can be compared to a gaming graphics card going full blast. I'm saying to myself, OK, I guess the battery will be wiped down after it's charged. Nestisila. I'll give it another chance, that when I turn off the PC and it is not under load, the fan will turn off (or at least it will stop). Nothing. The noise was absolutely unacceptable to me. A man tries to tune his PC to be as quiet as possible, buys NOCTUA fans with speed control, a quiet cabinet with good airflow and then I bring home this hurricane. I measured 50dB near her and 40dB 1m away from her. It is absolutely unsuitable for home use in a sleeping room. Unfortunately, she went back to where she came from.
