I bought it because my old Force-Glow's battery died after years and it's handy to have one mounted firmly on the bike and use the other one differently.
A note on the title: It has nothing to do with USB. It is charged with an 8.4 V charger, just like all other variants.
It shines excellently, just like its many years old predecessor.
The main part of the light is very directional, the rest shines everywhere. So you can see well into the distance and up close, including branches.
The mount can be modified with a few printed parts to keep it firmly on the bike and it would be too laborious for a thief to remove it from a locked bike. I just left the flashlight removable.
Unfortunately, like its old predecessor, it suffers from strong self-discharge unless the cable is disconnected. It'll go from 100% to 0 in two weeks. I don't see what the problem is with doing the shutdown properly, especially when they've known for so many years. It's the only downside, but it's really annoying.
