the fastening is not with the declared velcro, but with a strap with a pull-through clip and this is very impractical if you want to quickly detach the bag and use it as a portable bag (which allows)

clamping textile straps too short for handlebars
clamping failed after 5 min. of the ride, the straps of the plastic clamps were removed
one strap broke after a while of riding
